This was my first ever Ombre manicure I have done. It`s a Holographic Glitter Ombre. I don`t think I did too bad for being my first time.
This was the NOTD I was talking about on my post I did yesterday, the Neon Rainbow Ombre NOTD, here`s the link http://www.luuux.com/health-beauty/notd-neon-rainbow?blog_id=9947 which is actually what I`m wearing now.... seriously I can`t stop saying how obsessed I`m with them, they look professionally done!
Ok now onto this one.... like I said it was my first ever attempt at the Ombre design. With this one I used a dry sponge because I really didn`t know you could used them damp. I do feel they blend and apply much better when used damp. I haven`t tried with glitter yet though.
As a base I used a pale cream lavender by Revlon in the color Charming. Applied 2 coats and then began the ombre effect.
I took Sands & Castles which is a beautiful holographic lavender glitter which I`ve worn on its own and let me say its gorgeous. Anyways I took that color by Funky Fingers and gradually blended upwards, concentrating on the nail tip first.
After I was done with that I took Papa-Paparrazzi by Spoiled and did the same thing. I took this one because it had bigger size glitter and the color base was darker and it would give a better ombre effect.
After I was done I sealed everything with my not so fav top coat Seche Vite, and Voila! That`s it!
Do you like the whole ombre effect nails? Are you planning to trying this out?
I know I`m totally just obsessed with this trend! Let me know how you like it!
