Although I wear dark nail polishes less frequently than I do brighter ones, I was drawn to this one because of its pretty purple/green duochrome shimmer. It`s hard to see in photographs, but you can sort of see it in the polish bottle in the second photo. :)
Here`s what I used for today`s manicure:

Jordana Calcium Boost Base Coat with Calcium Gel

GOSH Nail Lacquer in Purple Heart

Yves Rocher Quick-Dry Fluid

I have to say I was really disappointed with the formula of this nail polish. When I attempted to apply it thinly it was super streaky. Then again, it was really hard to get a good amount of polish on the brush without it being gloopy and applying too thickly. I would get just enough polish on my brush, but when I started applying it to my nails, a glob of polish would run down the brush and apply WAY too thickly too my nails. As a result, my polish dried really, really slowly. The smell also seems to be a lot more offensive than other nail polishes I`ve tried. It`s really acrid (i.e., bitter, sour) and smells very strongly. I don`t care for it at all. :/
Although this is a pretty polish, I don`t recommend it. There are better-formulated polishes out there in similar shades. I don`t know if all of GOSH`s nail polishes are formulated like Purple Heart, but so far, I`m really not impressed.
