Today I sat down to redo my nails. I had no idea what I wanted to do. Absolutely no ideas. I went looking through my polishes and found a beautiful pale, pale pink from Julep. Immediately I wanted to do some sort of design in gold over the top. Fantastic! Now I have something I can build on! This method is, typically, how I work. LOL! I sat down and painted my nails in Julep Penelope. I was very tempted to leave it as a solid manicure because of how feminine and clean it looked. I forced myself to keep moving forward, though, because I was previously in a rut and I didn`t want to chance falling back into it. Over the top of Penelope I stamped on a polka dot/honeycomb-esque pattern at an angle (with a pink Special Konad polish), leaving a portion of the nail clean. Then, I went in with a golden Sally Hansen chrome pen and stamped on some tiny flowers in the clean space of the nail. I could have stopped there, but it seemed unfinished. Soooo, I sponged a bit of the gold at the tips as well as a Milani polish in Pink Out Loud. It wasn`t until I finished multiple steps that I was happy with my crazy, busy nail design. It has a lot going on, but I`m loving it so much!
