NOTD: Floral Simplicity

After wearing East Hampton Cottage for a day I just couldn`t take it and had to put a design over the top. I knew I wanted to do a black and white design because I haven`t done one in ages and I love the way they look. I flipped through my image plates and stopped at a floral print. I like this swirly, mixed flower pattern on the MASH 42 image plate. My base is 2 coats of Essie East Hampton Cottage. I used Sinful Colors Black on Black to do the stamping with. I recently discovered that one works AMAZINGLY well for stamping. It is even more affordable than the Sally Hansen InstaDri polishes we all love to work with. And, in my opinion stamps more clean. I would say it works just as well as my Konad special polish in black. The only difference is that I can feel the consistency being thinner when I brush it on but that doesn`t ruin the depth of the pigmentation at all. It makes less of a mess, too, when scraping off because it isn`t as gloopy as the Konad one. I simply stamped on the design to every finger, flipping the direction I stamped it on to give more of a hodge-podge placement of the flowers. I like that more than every nail having the flowers positioned exactly the same. This manicure really reminds me of something you`d see in those Sally Hansen polish strips. They look like those quite a lot. This is one of my favorite manicures I have worn in several weeks. It is simple enough, what with being black & white and a floral design... but yet they spark interest when people see them.
