After a day of wearing Kalmia alone, I decided it would be the perfect color to add some leaves to for a more autumn feel. Since Kalmia is a burnt rust kind of color, I chose a gold for the leaves. They ended up pairing beautifully. I showed my husband when I was done and he said it looks very fall-ish. There is no mistaking this manicure for any other season!
--WHAT I`M WEARING: -1 coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong -2 coats of Zoya Kalmia -1 coat of Seche Vite -Leaves stamped with Mash plate MASH 27 and Sally Hansen Color Quick pen in Gold Chrome -1 final coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong The use of the Sally Hansen Gold Chrome pen got me thinking: this is the only gold polish I use for stamping. I can`t even think, off the top of my head, of another gold polish that I have heard good reviews on for stamping. So, if you have one you like or have heard of a good one, please let me know. The Sally Hansen pens don`t have a whole heck of a lot of polish in them and I`d hate to run out and not have a back up gold polish on hand!
