NOTD: Double Layer Stamping

I recently picked up one more of the Sally Hansen Chrome Pens. I have fallen in love with using them with my image plates. They just works amazingly well. I have had zero problems with them. They don`t use up an excess amount of polish, so I don`t feel like I`m being wasteful. The colors are lovely are the metallic finish is beautiful. I especially enjoy the fact that I can wear them in something like this, where they are rather subtle, or I can pair them with another high contrast base shade and make them really pop. For this manicure I decided to pair the Turquoise Chrome with a similar colored base. I chose China Glaze`s For Audrey. I think they really worth well with one another. From there, I decided I wanted to do two layers of stamping. I don`t do this often, but I knew it would work perfectly, what with the first layer of stamps being so tame.
WHAT I DID: 1 coat of Milani Smoothe Base Coat 2 coats of China Glaze For Audrey 1 coat of Seche Vite Placed the diamond pattern with Sally Hansen Turquoise Chrome and Red Angel plate RA113 Placed the larger flowers with Konad special polish in black and Red Angel plate RA109 Placed the smaller flowers with Konad special polish in black and Konad plate M25 1 final coat of Seche Vite I was excited when I realized I had two similar style flower stamps that were in different sizes. That made it nice creating this manicure. The flowers aren`t spot-on identical, but close enough that you`d look at this and think the images were from the same stamp, or at least the same image plate. Nope! They didn`t even come from the same brand! Have a great weekend, everyone!
