A few months ago, I read a blog post about Ciate releasing their new "trend Manicure." The new kit is going to be running for $19, which is a bit pricey for a manicures. This trend seemed something fun too try out, but was not interested in paying so much money for a kit. I then though flocking powder would be perfect to try a do a Diy manicure.
What I used:
1 coat of Orly base coat
2 Coats of Zoya "Wednesday"
Recollections Flocking Powder
How I did it: Start of by applying two coats of polish. On your second of polish Immediately sprinkle the flocking powder all over the nails. Shake and tap off the remaining flocking powder and your done. For the manicure, it`s best to not apply apply a top coat.
Thoughts: I feel this is a fun manicure but not something I would wear for more than a day. But it does fee like velvet, it reminds me off an old vintage shirt I used to own.
What do you guys think about this manicure? Is it something you would try doing?
Thanks for reading and have a great day! Picture were taken by me =D
