NOTD: Crisp Autumn Leaves

Finally! A manicure that I am pleased with! After having a couple manicures (in a row) that I didn`t love I`m pleased to have one that I want to keep on for several days! This one reminds me of autumn leaves, thus the name. I am so ready for some cooler weather. This reminds me that fall will be on its way before we know it...Thank goodness! (I know I`m in the minority with that thought). The way the flakies change color as you move your hands is mesmerizing. I know flakies aren`t the hot thing anymore but I don`t care. I think they`re beautiful. I started by using a base coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong. Then I layered on two coats of Essie Berry Naughty. Next, I swiped on a single coat of Essie Shine Of The Times. Everything was sealed in with a coat of Seche Vite. Berry Naughty is rich in color but it definitely needs two coats. The coats don`t go on streaky, per say, but there are visibly thinner patches. The second coat fixed that right up. Shine Of The Times always amazes me. It goes on easily and so many flakies swipe onto the nail in that single thin coat. You`d think you have to build it up to get that many but nope! In the last photo you can see quite well how the flakies shift in color. There is a beautiful transition between red to green. BRING ON THE FALL! x-D
