Since St. Paddy`s day is over, I thought I should remove the green from my nails. Plus, with the first official day of spring being tomorrow (Tuesday), I figured I`d do blooms. So, I`ve hand painted on some gerber daisies. They look very child-like and playful, which is 100% fine by me. I think they suit the weather we`ve been having perfectly, too.
WHAT I HAVE ON: 1 coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails 3 coats of Essie Poppy Art Pink With a fine brush I painted on flowers using Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and Sinful Colors Hazard With a tiny dotting tool I dotted on the center of the flowers using the opposite polish 1 coat of Seche Vite After I had finished I wished I had gone in with a brighter pink and put some more flowers in. Oh well, no big deal. Technically, I still could, but I don`t want the extra layer of top coat. This manicure already has 5 full coats of polish, so I don`t want to risk putting on a 6th and then have it start to peel away. Happy Monday, everyone! Are you excited that spring will officially be here tomorrow (Tuesday)? To be honest, we`ve had very spring-like weather for some time, already, and the dogwoods have already blossomed. I have to admit, as much as I love winter, I enjoy the beautiful blossoming trees and flowers in the spring (my allergies, not so much). We have several pink and white blossomed trees around my home and the last 4-5 days I`ve been enjoying seeing them out the windows... though, they don`t smell too nice, in my opinion. Quite stinky, actually. BLECH! (first 2 photos taken in natural sunlight. 3rd photo taken indoors with flash) -------please note: This is a post that is also on my PixiePolish blog, and prescheduled to go up on Monday morning (this post went up Sunday evening on luuux. That is why I say a couple times tomorrow or happy Monday. ;-)
