NOTD: Bubble Bath

I got the OPIs Best of the Best collection last week. I have done already a manicure using the Tickle My France-y from this nail lacquer collection. Lately I have been feeling like wearing more subtle manicures, which is why I chose OPIs Bubble Bath for my latest manicure.

What I did:
I cleaned my nails carefully with Maybelline Express Nail Polish Remover and cotton pads. I filed my nails into shape and buffed them with buffer file. As a base coat, I used Sally Hansens Diamond Base and Top coat. Then, I added two layers of OPIs Bubble Bath. Lastly, I finished the manicure with a layer of Sally Hansens Diamond Base and Top Coat and cleaned any mistakes I made.

OPIs Bubble Bath is a really nice sheer light pink polish. It made my nails look brighter and creamier, almost like having clear acrylic nails. I really love this color, since it is so subtle. It would be great for e.g. young girls and adult women working in conservative work places!

As much as I love this color, I would not recommend getting it in OPIs small bottles. The smaller nail lacquer bottles also have smaller brushes which sometimes results in a bit streaky layer of polish. I noticed it looked a bit streaky if I did not have a lot of polish in the brush when I was putting the first layer of polish. Although the streaks were almost invisible, I decided to put second layer. Perhaps with bigger bottle it is possible to put only one layer to have even more sheer look. I dont think the small brush is a problem with darker polishes since it would need more than one layer anyway.

What do you think about OPIs small bottles? Does the smaller brush bother you?
