After wearing Zoya`s Perrie alone for a day I decided to spice it up. It actually came about because I was redoing my toe nails. I have been wearing pastels on my toes but got the urge to put on a neon. Once I was finished with my toes I figured I`ll do a striped manicure using the tape method. I was feeling pretty lazy and didn`t want to rummage around for another polish so I just stuck with the bottles nearest me! When I was choosing the color for my pedicure it was a toss up between two Studio M. neon pinks: Infusion and Neon Pink (original name, huh?). I had used Infusion on my toes so selected the second pink for the stripes in this manicure. I simply took pieces of scotch tape and cut them into thinner strips with scissors. Then, I placed the pieces of tape across my nails at an angle. I pressed them down firmly to make sure there were no gaps between the tape and my nail bed. Once I was satisfied that I had them pressed down well, I brushed on the pink polish. Before the paint had a chance to dry I carefully peeled away the tape. Normally, I have less than ideal results when doing tape manicures. The only thing I can figure is I am using a different brand of tape this time. It seemed to stick down to the nail well and didn`t give me any seeping under it.
