Fancy name, huh? LOL :-) This is a manicure I threw on because I didn`t know what else to do at the moment. It was getting late and I didn`t want my nails to be naked so I went rummaging through my polishes for a color that I haven`t used. I`m not in love with this manicure, but I got a few compliments while out running errands yesterday...so apparently it isn`t too horrid.
WHAT I HAVE ON: 1 Coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails 2 Coats of Essie No More Film 1 Coat of Julep Melissa on the ring fingers and thumbs With Melissa on a small dotting tool I dotted in on all of the fingers with No More Film as the base color. With No More Film on a small dotting tool I dotted in on the ring fingers and thumbs 1 Coat of Seche Vite We`ll consider this a mini review of these polishes because I hadn`t worn either of them previously. No More Film I REALLY like. It applied nicely and was very, very opaque. I could have stuck with one coat and been perfectly fine. However, because my macro shots sometimes make the polish appear thinner than it really is, I applied a second coat. Melissa I am leaning towards not liking. The application was fine but I just don`t know how I feel about the pearly seashell color it gives off. I think I`d have to find the right base color to layer it with. I mean, it is fun that it turned to a turquoise-blue but the finish of it makes it a turquoise that I don`t really care for. Maybe I`d like it if it were layered over a white so that it still had a demure, soft look to it. I don`t know. I`ll have to play around with it more. If my opinion on it changes, I`ll definitely update.
