I finally had the chance to change my polish, and post. I wanted to change them last week, but had to have emergency surgery, so I couldn`t. I have been laying on the couch for about a week and finally woke up today feeling better and able to move without being sore.
I let my hubby pick out my next color and this is what he chose. Essie`s Bikini So Teeny, from the new collection of the same name. The color is a very soft, beautiful, creamy blue. While its hard to capture the polish has very subtle shimmer.
For an accent nail I finally was able to use China Glaze`s Snow Globe. It blends and works perfectly with the blue.
On to the application. I had a bit of trouble with this one. On my very 1st nail I had the same amount of polish on the brush as I usually do. It was so runny it pooled and ran towards my cuticles and sides. I ended up removing it and trying again. I decided less polish on the brush. With that it left the applications streaky and would pull. So I don`t even know how to describe the formula, thin, or thick. It jus tdidn`t work. Each coat required me to dip the brush 3 in the bottle. Just for one even coat. It took 3 full coats to achieve this look.
I would`ve loved to have done this color on my toes, but it would be a lot of trouble. I contemplated just removing it and doing a whole new mani, but I did love the color.
Have you picked up this color? What do you think of it? Would you wear it?
