For todays nails, theyre reminiscent of my previous /viz/notd-french-mani-accent post because it was also a French manicure. This time I decided to go for black tips. The black looks edgier and modern but I noticed this was a little messier to clean up because when I would clean the edges with acetone, the black would run down along my cuticle and it was a lot more difficult to remove and because black is quite a potent color. What I like with black French tips is theyre easier to touch up. I feel like I can go over chipped areas and it wont look as goopy or caked on as it would with white or is that just me? Also, dont mind my stained nails. Theyre a bit on the yellow side due to wearing a lot of my blue polishes lately and even with a base I still get this problem : Im trying to let my nails breath a but I just cant stand the site of seeing them bare so French tips are currently the easiest fix without getting the nails soaked in color.
