Unfortunately Syria is in constant war, and these buildings which are some centuries old, can be in risk. At the beginning these wheels were used to bring water into the aqueducts and further to fields. But in nowadays the wheels are no longer in use, although they create an unique design to it city, and of course it`s part of the history and heritage of it. I hope the constant war do not destroy this precious wheels.
