Hey dolls, so recently I found the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors in store. I know this collection came out back in the holidays but I really didnt even think we would get it over here so I was soo excited when I saw these! I think people will either love or hate this collection because there will be a mixture of people who either love or hate the Kardashians. I have to admit I kinda love them haha, and these polishes are no exception. There are only two polishes I didnt want from this collection which were the two Kylie shades, only because I already have colours like them. Anyways lets get to it (WARNING be prepared for A LOT of Ks haha)
Khloe Had A Little Lam Lam is a dark green crème polish; it almost wants to be teal however its definitely more of a green. This polish was gorgeous, it is rich and definitely different from any polish in my collection. The formula was good, two coats was perfect. And yes the name, I know a lot of people will hate haha but its so cute.
Disco Dolls is a gold micro glitter polish with larger multi-coloured hexagonal glitter. This is pretty much just the gold version of Follow Me On Glitter, but I dont mind that at all because they are both gorgeous. This one also took two coats and had a good formula but was also annoying to remove haha.
My Empire My Rules is a taupe/brown/grey with a hint of green and a crème finish. I thought this one might be a bit close to OPI You Dont Know Jacques but they are pretty different, next to it this one looks grey. I know this isnt the most unique colour however something about this polish made me get it and since I dont have too many colours like this I went for it. The formula was good on this one, two coats was great.
Sealed With A Kris is a dark red sorbet/jelly finish polish. This is definitely not unique however I didnt have one in my collection so I decided to get it since I have wanted a dark red for a while. It is more of a blue-based red and is gorgeous, very rich and classic. The formula for this was good too, two coats gave great coverage but I did three just to darken it up a little. Also since it is one of OPIs sorbet finishes it is slightly translucent. I really loved this colour!
Listen To Your Momager! is a medium-dark blue shimmer polish. It is in the same family as OPI Swimsuit Nailed It! however Listen To Your Momager! is a darker and less metallic version. I absolutely love blues like this on my skin-tone however since I already had Swimsuit Nailed It! I wasnt going to let myself get this one. Thank goodness I changed my mind haha because it is absolutely gorgeous and they are different I promise. The formula wasnt as pigmented as Swimsuit Nailed It! as it was slightly sheerer and took more coats but that was fine. The only downside of this polish is that it (like Swimsuit Nailed It!) it does stain the nails, but the colour is worth it. The shimmer in this is soo pretty, this is definitely a front runner in this collection for me, although its not the most unique colour. I did three coats but two thicker coats would have been fine. The formula was good and easy to apply.
Kim-pletely Inlove (no comment on the name) is a light pink with micro opalescent glitters. This polish is really pretty, its the perfect light pink with the twist of the shimmer. Since this is a light colour it was a little sheer but three coats got it pretty opaque and the formula was good and easy to apply.
Its All About The Glam is a white with micro glitters. It has a similar foundation as Kim-pletely Inlove however the glitters are silver instead of multi-tonal. The glitter in this looks like ice on your nails, its beautiful. It just looks like icy goodness. Really pretty and delicate. This one was a little bit streaky, I did three thicker coats. Although it does have shimmer removal wasnt bad.
Follow Me On Glitter is a charcoal grey micro glitter base with multi-coloured larger hexagonal glitters. This has the same foundation as Disco Dolls just in a different base glitter colour. The formula was easy to apply and not too bad to remove which was nice. This was actually really, really nice although it is definitely packed full of glitter, it sat nice and flat on the nail and was fairly smooth which I didnt expect. Love it, the only problem was removal but that it just typical of a glitter and is completely worth it! Two coats made this perfectly opaque.
Kendall On The Katwalk is a blue glitter with a mix of blue and purple/green duochrome glitters. This is a gorgeous polish, the colours in this look amazing together and its a polish I definitely havent seen before. The formula was easy to apply and it was opaque in two coats. Of course though since this is a glitter polish removal was a tad annoying but thats just typical of glitter.
All Kendall-ed Up is cool toned barbie pink creme. This polish seems to have a bit of a purpley/fuchsia tones in it which is really pretty. This polish really isnt that unique however it is to my collection. The formula was good, two coats made it opaque.
Kourt Is Red-y For A Pedi is a bright orange based red with a sorbet finish. This is so bright and gorgeous, again nothing totally unique here although if you dont have a colour like it in your collection then this is a good one. I did two coats although since this is a sorbet finish it is slightly translucent, I love it!
Hard Kourt Fashionista is a rich dark brown with red/maroon undertones. I dont know why but I really like this colour, usually I really dont like browns on the nails but for some reason this one is really nice. Maybe because its so dark haha who knows. I actually am really excited to try this out with China Glaze Lubu Heels over the top. The formula was great on this two coats got it completely opaque.
WOW! Sorry for the super long post haha. If you made it to the end, youre a survivor lol. So did any of you get anything from this collection? What do you think?
