Sometimes it seems as if the long 30 minute drive to work every morning is just better off with a cup of tea in hand and the radio...Sipping a nice warm tea to wake you up, and blasting the radio up, and listening to music to pump you up and silly jokes that the radio hosts say and the silly things they do...We all need that early in the morning to kind of get us prepared for the fabulous day full of hectic, long hours and tiredness...
Every morning while on my way to work I listen to a few radio stations, which really have amazing radio hosts!....One of which is 92.3 NOW (A NYC radio station), where Nick Cannon is a celebrity host on....He literally is hilarious to listen to, and entertaining....However, now Nick is off the show because of big health issues.....Poor guy! And my poor morning commute!
About a month or two ago Nick was hospitalized for his health....After a week or two of time off, he was back on air making everyone laugh including me!....But up until the last few days Nick announced that he had to end his Rollin` with Nick Cannon radio show immediately so he can focus on his health.....Doctors orders!....
On Thursday Nick issued a statement saying, "Under doctor`s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule," ......."It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated Cannon Countdown weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep."
In December Nick was hospitalized for a week with what was termed "mild kidney failure" while on a New Years Eve vacation in Aspen, CO with his wife Mariah Carey....
Yesterday, he revealed he had recently been re-hospitalized with additional health issues.
On his show he admitted this Thursday that he was hospitalized over the weekend........"I was having a lot of pain in my back... I learned that I had blood clots in my lungs... an enlarged ventricle in the right side of my heart."
Poor Nick! This sounds like a road that he will have to deal with!
