ever since i stopped blow-drying my hair for good (which feels incredibly liberating and awesome, by the way) ive been a bit more eager to try some new hairstyles out. the other day i decided to give some life back into my second-day hair by quickly curling the ends. it must have taken me about 10 minutes or less using my T3 straightener. i start half way down the hair and wrap a 1 inch strand around the straightener and turn it twice. i dont let it sit or wait - i just wrap the strand, pull/twist, and let it go. the trick to making this last the next day is to put your hair up in a really loose bun before you sleep. i use a clip to hold the bun in place - not a hair tie or bobby pins - in order to avoid creases. the next morning when i let my hair down, my hair has maintained the curls really well. in fact, ive started doing this during the week right before bed in order to save time in the morning.
