I just bought three new lipsticks today and I loved them so much I wanted to tell you about them. NYC lipstick is one of my favourite brands of lipsticks. I got Expert Last Lipstick in smooch which is such a beautiful colour. It`s not too dark but not too light. It`s wonderful for days where you don`t want to dress up too much, but you do want to wear make up. It`s light and I like that. I don`t usually wear light lipstick but this can go with anything so I love it. It lasts for up to 6 hours as well so that`s a bonus. I think this one cost $1.79 so it was affordable.
The next one I got is Ultra Moist Lipwear in retro red. Now, red is my favourite kind of lipstick colour to wear. It makes me feel sexy and I`ve gotten more compliments when I do wear it. This is a much darker red than I`m used to for days when I want to go bold. It`s a nice, rich colour and it feels absolutely great on my lips. The thing I really love about this lipstick is that he moment it touched my lips, it was applied. I didn`t need two or three coats like you do with other lipsticks. That`s a big plus for me. This one was about $1.99 which was an excellent price.
And the last lipstick I got was City Duet 2-in-1 Lip Colour in the rock a fellas. This colour is absolutely beautiful. It`s two different colours within one lipstick and that is a smart way to save space. One is a light, nude colour pink while the other is a bit darker, more playful tone. I love this lipstick because not only are the colours amazing, the way it looks on my lips is stunning. And I love the smell of it for some reason, but that could just be me. You don`t have to just use one colour, though. You can blend them both together - I haven`t tried that yet but it would work out nicely. I got this one for $2.99.
Most of the lipstick I saw there were $5.99 and up which is completely ridiculous for me. So, when I saw that these were actually affordable prices for such nice colours, I just had to get them. I bought them all at Target.
