New Workout Gear, Current Workout, and Weigh In!

Hey everyone!
I`ve recently really gotten back into working out, and I really think cute workout clothes help motivate me! These are a few things I`ve picked up recently for working out. I bought 2 pairs of Victorias Secret PINK running shorts, and I love them! They are so cute, and they actually have a little pocket on the inside to hold things such as iphones or ipods. It makes it easy when running and listening to music!

The other pair of shorts I actually just got in the mail 2 days ago haha. I ordered them off of ebay! They`re Nike dri-fit training shorts. I only paid about $25 for them and they were brand new with tags. Not too shabby seeing these usually got for $40+ a pair when they`re new! he other two things I`ve purchased are a Nike water bottle and nike headbands (gotta match, lol!). 6 of them came in a pack. I actually got them from marshalls and only spent about $13 for both them and the water bottle!

<strong>Current Workout</strong>
I go to the YMCA in my area, usually every other day for about an hour each time. My workout consists of:
-2 mile jog
-10 minute ab workout (1 min plank, 30 sec. side plank of each side, 6 inches for 1 min, flutter kicks for 1 min, repeat)
-bike for 10-20 minutes
-do various weight machines

The 2 mile job is still a little tough for me to complete, so sometimes I do 1 mile then do my abs, then try to complete another mile.

<strong>Weigh In</strong>
My starting weight was 150lbs. I`m trying to get back down to my goal weight of 130lbs. Recent factors including being put on the pill, study snacking, and lack of sleep have really contributed to a bit of weight gain D: But! I will work hard and achieve my goal! After 3 weeks of working out and eating healthier, my current weight is 143lbs! woo! almost 1/3 of the way there!

I think what has really helped me lose weight is my new eating habits. I completely cut out fast food and pop. I eat a lot more fruits and veggies and lean meats. Not only can I tell a difference in my weight, but eating better food <em>really</em> makes me feel better too.
