Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed your long weekend this past week. Even though it was Tuesday today, I felt as if it was Monday; probably because it was the first day back of the week. :/ So what better way to pick up myself than go shopping?! As usual I went to Winners today. I absolutely love that store, may be because they really do make me feel like a "winner" - a winner at finding great deals - whenever I am there.
I stopped by the polish area, but unfortunately there weren`t any polishes that I wanted. :( So I thought why not give a new perfume a try, since it`s a new spring? They have such a wide variety of perfumes to choose from, designer to non-designer. Ranging from Peace, Love and Juicy Couture to With Love by Hilary Duff.
After spraying and sniffing multiple bottles, I decided to go with Lacoste Joy of Pink. I have never tried any perfumes by Lacoste before, but have heard quite good things about it. I find this perfume to be very fresh and citrusy (with a hint of floral), which is great for the spring and summer.
The top notes are: Grapefruit. The middle notes are: Peony and Curacao. The base notes are: Musk and Virginia Cedar. (From Fragrantica; link below)
This is the 50mL bottle and the price was $39.99, which is a steal, since a 50mL bottle of this would usually retail for $72.00 (like at Sephora), even though the suggested retail price is $60.
I can`t wait to use this tomorrow! The fresh burst of grapefruit will definitely awaken me first thing in the morning! And the deal for this was a definite steal.
Have you tried any perfumes by Lacoste? Do you like their perfumes?
