So while in San Francisco, we visited Alameda South Shore Center. While there, I visited Alameda Beauty Center and ended up picking up some goodies from them!
Now I was a bit reluctant to buy nailpolish in the States because I was worried that if I got caught up with buying nailpolish and buying too much, I wouldn`t be able to bring it back to Canada so I restricted myself to two bottles...which I`m pretty glad about because I`ve slowly developed a control over my nailpolish obsession hahah!
So I picked up China Glaze`s Broken Hearted and China Glaze`s Marry a Millionaire. Both were originally $7 USD but they were actually on clearance, so I ended up getting 2 for the price of one, which made them $3.50 USD each, that was obviously a deal I couldn`t pass up at all!
China Glaze`s Broken Hearted first came out when China Glaze introduced their line of shatter polishes. I actually have another one from the collection, Cracked Concrete, but I had tried out Broken Hearted before and absolutely fell in love with it! I don`t know how to describe the color but the bottle I got, the color is a lot darker than I recall? It used to be a normal pink color but my bottle is like a dark pink, maybe they changed their formula, I`m not sure but it still looks very nice!
China Glaze`s Marry a Millionaire originally came out as part of the collection Eye Candy 3D Glitters. I had seen the other glitters in this collection and the only ones that really appealed to me were Some Like it Haute (which my sister has so I wasn`t going to get a bottle) and Marry a Millionaire. All the glitter polishes I own are nothing like Marry a Millionaire so I`m glad I purchased it! So rather than the usual circle glitters, these are actually string like glitters instead...its actually really nice! Now I can`t pinpoint exactly what colors are in there but purple, gold and green are my main colors that I see. I`ve actually worn this once, it took me 3 coats which isn`t too bad for a glitter to be opaque, but it chipped in the first day...I was so disappointed, maybe I will have better luck next time with it.
So these are the two new polishes I`ve added to my collection, I`m thinking about doing an updated nailpolish collection but not sure?
What do you think? Have you tried these colors yet?
