Hi everyone! Last week during the Memorial Day weekend, my mom and I visited the outlets for some retail therapy. I normally never find anything when shopping at Aldo, but this I was able to get a necklace that I`ve had my eye on for months!
What I got:
>> Long, double-stranded bead necklace (2 for 1 deal, $15 individually): This is the necklace I`ve been waiting on for months! It was originally much more expensive than $15 and I wasn`t willing to pay that much for a beaded necklace. I had pretty much given up on getting this necklace, but that weekend it was part of the 2 for 1 deal on accessories, and the price was marked down! It`s a pretty long necklace when unwrapped, but it is meant to be coiled and layered. There are lots of shiny, pastel colored beads that would look great for spring and summer.
>> Nautical bracelet set (2 for 1, $20 originally, $15 on sale): Because the necklace was part of a 2 for 1, I figured I might as well pick a free piece. I love anything that is nautical themed, so these were a great set to pick up. It also features light pastels, some bracelets with rhinestones, and others with nautical themed charms. The tag said this was $20, and I was okay with getting two pieces for $20, but when it rang up for $15!
I`m excited to start wearing these pieces with flowy dresses and sandals, but the first thing I did with the bracelets was coat them with clear nail polish to keep the gold finish from wearing off. Alternatively you can spray paint them with a clear enamel paint, but I haven`t had much luck with spray paint.
