I recently saw on the weekly catalog from Lidl that they had a promo for heart rate monitors. They sometimes put the heart rate monitors for sale for like a week but its an item that its rare to show up on promo here and from doing my research before, i knew that these heart rate monitors were reliable, which isn`t always the case for cheap electronics.
The other times i wanted it i wasn`t able to get one because they were sold out and i ended up getting a different one on a different store but this time they had the promo back on and so i took the oportunity and got one. I got this one actually for my dad that wants to get more active and i thought this would also be a good incentive because it does motivate me sometimes when im exercising to see the calorie number go higher and the control the heart beats.
But this is more than just a regular heart rate monitor. It has a gazillion of functions and stuff that my own heart rate monitor doesn`t have. Here is what it can do:
- Measure heart rate ( of course lol ), telling you also your HR% to know if you are in the ideal "fat burning" zone/beat. It uses a chest strap so its the most accurate you can get
-Grams of fat burnt
-Calculates your BMI
-Clock alarm and alarm for HR
-Pedometer, with steps, distance and speed calculation
I think there is something more im forgetting but this thing almost makes waffles lol
Other good thing?! The price. I payed 23/30$ for it, which is an awesome price for something like this, mine was from a store brand and it was a bit more expensive for less functions. I just hope this will last a long time but i believe it will and there is always the 2 year warranty.
What do you think of the heart rate monitor?
Do you have or plan to get a heart rate monitor? If so, do you have a specific one in mind?
