the forever 21 in union square is one of the best locations in the country from what i`ve heard, and i do admit i quite like it though i don`t think it at all compares to the GIANT location in times square new york city.
a few weeks ago, my friend told me that another forever 21 opened in downtown san francisco on market street and i was kinda like wtf... why would they open another one when they have a three story one right there?!
yesterday, i got to go to the new one and i realized just how ridiculous the location was. it`s where the old virgin store used to be, and it`s LITERALLY ONE BLOCK DOWN. i`ve heard of this with starbucks and mcdonald`s, but those are for food so more locations is nice. do you really need to have two HUGE forever 21 locations within that close of one another though??
the new location, i`ll admit, is quite nice. i think it`s better than the old one because it`s newer and it hasn`t fallen into a state of disarray as most forever 21`s are bound to do. it`s quite shiny and awesome :) the picture from above is of the sign that`s above the entrance but i don`t think they would`ve been happy with me taking photos inside the store. take my word for it - it`s pristine and gorgeous! compared to the old forever 21, which i think is quite a bit more crowded and harder to shop in, this one is awesome.
i do hope that they`re going to vacate the old space or something though because i think the two locations is quite unnecessary. however, i think they might be trying to diffuse some of the traffic into the new location because it was always so packed in the old forever 21!
have you encountered any instances where there were two of the same store within a ridiculously close proximity to one another?
