Lately, I`ve been trying to increase my water intake, but it`s kind of boring to just be chugging straight water all the time. I was talking to my friend about this, and she sent me a recipe for a drink called "Sassy Water", a flavoured water drink that you can make yourself. I love how it tastes, and I`ve been drinking it all day so far!
Here are the ingredients:
<strong><ul><li>2 litres of water</li>
<li>1 small cucumber, thinly sliced</li>
<li>1 lemon, thinly sliced</li>
<li>12 fresh mint leaves</li>
<li>1 tsp sliced or grated fresh ginger root</li></ul></strong>
Basically, you just throw all the ingredients in a jug and fill it with water. Let it "steep" for a little while, and enjoy! You can keep refilling the jug with water throughout the day, but you should probably throw out the ingredients after a couple of days, and start over with fresh ones.
I`m really glad my friend told me about this recipe. It`s making it easy for me to drink lots of water now. =)
