I went out shopping today because I realized this past week that I am in desperate need of new jeans. I keep wearing the same ones over and over because I love them, so the denim is starting to wear thin on them. So I decided I really needed to get some new ones, so off to the mall I went!
My first stop was JC Penney. I had a $10 off coupon (they`re always in the flyers) so I figured I`d go see what I could find. I happened upon a whole bunch of Decree jeans and tried a couple pairs on. Now, normally, it takes me awhile to find jeans that fit me just right. I don`t think I`ve ever just picked up a pair of jeans and had them fit me perfectly on the first try - but today I did! BOTH pairs of jeans I picked out fit me amazingly! I couldn`t believe it! Sometimes I stand in the dressing room, looking to see if they actually fit or if I actually like them, but with these I knew right away I had to get them :) I was so happy!
The jeans were marked down on sale to $25 (don`t know what the original price was since JC Penney know does a new pricetag system that only shows the newest price) and I had my $10 off coupon. I only paid $40 for both pairs! Score!
I went into Kohl`s next since I had a 15% off coupon and a $10 off coupon. I really wanted to get a white winter coat because I feel like I wear my black ones all the time. I looked through the racks and saw that they only had one white coat left in a small - and it was perfect! Originally, the coat was $220. There is no way I could pay that, lol. It was marked down 55% off and then I also had my $10 off coupon and the 15% off coupon, which brought the total down to about $75 or so. Then, as I started looking at the coat, I realized that there were some minor marks/stains on it. So I figured I could ask customer service if they would give me a further discount since the coat was "ruined." And they did! They told me the register at the front would ring it up and I ended up getting an ADDITIONAL 15% off! Awesome!! So I only paid about $65 for a coat that was originally $220. Success!
I`m going to be wearing my new coat and one of my new pairs of jeans tomorrow for class. I can`t wait!
