New closet organizers!

I am one of those people who needs to organize on a constant basis. If I don`t, I feel panicky. At times I`m convinced I have slight ocd. I need to have things organized and precise. The bills in my wallet are in alphabetical order. My hangers must all be the same exact ones (No wire hangers!!!), and face the same direction. Books have to be short to tall, and so on.

My need to organize increases when it comes to my closet. My closet is my lifeline. I love to have it looking beautiful, and perfect. I like to see all my beauties, in a presentable state. In my closet I had several different storage units. It drove me nuts because they were all different. I had 3 plastics drawers. 2 birch stands. 2 white shoe racks. A 4 drawer wire rack. Ugh! I would be happy, then sad instantly while looking at my closet. Though I kept everything neat it just did not look the way I wanted it to. Plus I didn`t have enough storage for my shoes. Today I decided I was going to make everything uniform, minus the shoe boxes of course.

I went to Target and got 3 pieces. I already had 2 white stackable pieces, which are in picture 4. So I made sure to get more in white. I got 2 sets of drawers, and 1 15 cube stacker. I was able to get rid of all the mismatched items and fit in the new ones. The items I had in the 3 plastic drawers, and 4 drawer rack, fit into the new drawers. Seems odd huh? I actually roll my clothes. This gives more room and makes items easier to find as opposed to going down the stacks. I`m actually going to get about 3 more. I will do a post on that as well.

I did however underestimate the size of the 15 cube organizer. Not that that should have happened cause the overall measurements are on the boxes. Though it didn`t pan out for my shoes I was able to put my smaller purses, flats and sandals in there. Once it is complete, I will do a full post.

The 15 cube organizer cost $15.

How do you organize your closet? Do you use stackers? Would you?

Images are my own.
The 2 drawer organizer cost $35.
