WORLD-RENOWNED jeweller Chopard has collaborated with iconic London store Harrods to create a Haute Joaillerie collection inspired by Walt Disney`s Princesses.
Ariel, Belle, Cinderella et al feature in the ten-piece collection, which comprises a selection of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and hairpieces.
As a partner of the Cannes Film Festival, the brand is no stranger to the world of film. Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, revealed that the Disney characters have been a source of inspiration long before this collaboration: "The world of Walt Disney has often been an inspiration for a variety of Chopard. I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to design the famous Princesses` pieces of jewellery."
The launch of the collection ties in with Harrods` Christmas 2012 window displays, which feature dresses by world-leading designers - including Oscar de la Renta, Versace and Elie Saab - as well as a charitable collaboration between Scheufele and footwear extraordinaire Giuseppe Zanotti. The stimuli for both the partnerships was also the Disney Princesses.
The Chopard Haute Joaillerie collection is now available exclusively in Harrods Fine Jewellery Room until the end of December
