Last week I went to the San Ysidro Las Americas outlets. Having lived only about an hour away, for 5 yrs, I was pretty disappointed that this was pretty much my 2nd time there. I had also gone the week prior but didn`t get a chance to walk all over. I went into 3 stores and called it a day. Before that trip I had never been, nor knew they existed. Luckily my friend had been and took me. BOTH TIMES! On this trip I went to almost all, and saw all the outlets had to offer. I will do a post on that as well.
While there I went to the Aldo store. As soon as I spotted these flats I knew they would be coming home with me. Unless of course they didn`t have my size. I immediately fell in love with them. Anyone who knows me could`ve picked those out from a lineup. They scream Queen!
What drew me in was the coral ribbon. The flats itself are a gorgeous dark cognac color. They are peep toed, and have weaving and hole through out the shoe. (The holes actually remind me of old school rockers or chairs that had the same exact backing) There are 3 colored ribbons, coral, cream, and blue, that weave in and out of the holes. The coral one goes all the way to the toes where there is a bow made with the same ribbon. I`m on a coral kick. Almost everything I pick up has this color it.
The cost of the shoes were $55. Not a bad price, but not what I expected at the outlets. Unfortunately some stores that occupy the space are not real outlets. Its a gimmick. You see it located at the outlets and presume its cheaper there. When some are exactly the same price. Example: My flats. Linked is the websites page and the flats. Same exact price $55
Do you like these flats? Are these something you would wear?
