On the way to class, I told my boyfriend to make an exit but it was the wrong exit so we decided to stop by McDonald`s for a quick dinner because we had twenty minutes left before class. I decided to order the new Clubhouse Angus Burger on an Artisan Roll because it looked really appealing and I like sesame/poppy seeds but turns out.. I was really disappointed. I was first disappointed with the service because the McDonalds had a 2 lane drive thru like Chick-fil-A and the person that was "supposed" to be working the 2nd lane that we were in.. didn`t get to us until they took the order for the 1st lane and 3 cars later. So.. if we were in lane 1, we would have been ahead of all 3 cars! When we pulled up, I had a long talk with the worker because I was so pissed! He apologized and blamed that someone was "supposed" to work that 2nd lane but they`re not or something.
So when I got my food, I wasn`t in the mood to eat anymore. Secondly, the sauces don`t mix so well in my opinion - I didn`t like it.
What`s in this artisan roll?
Tangy steak sauce
Smoky dijon mustard
Third-pound Angus beef
All on an artisian rolled with some sesame and poppy seeds
I did not like the dijon mustard and "tangy" steak sauce. The grilled onions aren`t as good as In & Out. And, the burger was extremely over priced, it was over $5. Mind as well invest in a few more dollars to eat at Red Robins, TGIF, or even IN & OUT and it`d taste way better. I would not repurchase this burger.
Have you tried this burger out? What did you think of it?
