awhile ago i received the campaign invite from bzzagent for neutrogena norwegian formula hand cream and i of course accepted it. i have been abit behind on my posts lately. so i have had this bzzkit for awhile, so i am combining this haul with the review.
i have used neutrogena products in the past and had for the most part always been pleased with them. i hadn`t heard or seen this norwegian formula hand cream before so i was excited to try it. i mentioned to my sister before i got the bzzkit that i was doing this campaign and she said something along the lines of "omg you haven`t tried that hand cream before?! its really good!" which then of course made me even more excited to try it!
when i recieved this bzzkit it had a full sized 2 oz. tube of the fragrance free hand cream and 6 mini 0.5 oz. tubes of the original.
this hand cream was founded off the coast in norway by fisherman whose skin was suffering from all the harsh weather from the ocean like wind and cold. so the fisherman developed this cream which contains a concentrated amount of glycerin to apply to their skin and discovered that it worked wonders for their very chapped, cracked and dry skin. so then neutrogena eventually adopted the formula and made the norwegian formula hand cream. which has since then for decades now consistently outperformed other products. (mini bio, i paraphrased from my bzzguide)
some claims and facts:
-a dab repairs 7 signs of damage:dryness, chapping, splitting nails, dry cuticles, scaliness, and roughness
-2oz. tube good for 200 uses
-available in original and fragrance free
-also can be used as lip balm
-retails at $4.99
okay now for my personal thoughts on this hand cream. i have been using it for a few weeks now every night. i have also used it during the day a few times as well. i can truthfully say i really LOVE this hand cream. this hand cream is more of a gel consistency which im pretty sure is the glycerin. a little of it does go a long was and it settles into my skin very quickly and i don`t have to walk around trying not to touch anything because im waiting for the lotion to set into my skin. i have noticed that my hands have been ALOT smoother and has helped significantly with my minor injuries i inevitably get from me constantly working with fabrics, threads, removing staples/tacks, and other endless craft/sewing related injuries. i also find this hand cream to be very long lasting and not at all sticky/slimey on my skin AND it also doesn`t transfer onto any fabric or materials i may be working with!
so all in all, i am very very impressed with this hand cream and would definitely recommend it!
have you tried this neutrogena norwegian formula hand cream? are you a bzzagent? if so did you participate in this campaign?
