I met up with my friend on Bloor street in summer and we decided to go to a Japanese and Korean restaurant since I wanted Korean food and he wanted Japanese.
It was the worst decision we made.
First, the restaurant was completely overpriced. The lunch specials were $8.99 for a simple Soon Dobu and it was already on discount since the regular price was $9.99-10.99.
I don`t mind the price if its GOOD food, but it was terrible.
My Soon Dobu, though it looks really good, was very watered down. I don`t even know how it got the red color because I felt like I was drinking diluted Kimchi soup.
My friend initially ordered a plate of sushi but he didn`t even touch 1/4 of it because we looked at the sushi closer and the tuna and salmon did not look fresh. So he ordered a Jang Pong, which is a Korean spicy seafood ramen dish. Again, the soup tasted very watered down even though it had a lot of color.
In the end, he ended up spending more than $50 on a meal which left both of us still hungry after! The food was that nasty! We just wanted to get out.
Have you guys had bad food experiences?
