Urban Decay have become very well know for their Naked line, beginning with the Naked eyeshadow palette and leading onto foundations, blushes, even nail polish. They recently release and all matte eyeshadow palette, suitably called Naked Basics, and to be honest, I was so excited to get my hands on it. Now when I see this palette I think `perfect for everyday, perfect for travel, perfect for basically everyone.` So clearly, it had a lot to live up to.
Now the first two Naked palettes quickly became part of my everyday routine very quickly; in a word, I was obsessed. However, what I found lacking, as many others did, were the matte shadows. The Naked Basics palette was Urban Decay`s way of fixing this problem, with six full sized eyeshadows (all but one being matte) in a compact palette. With three highlight shades and three darker shades, these neutral shadows are great for everyday use, suited to almost all skin-tones, and in true Urban Decay style, amazing quality.
