Nails: Revlon Gold Coin

The polish featured here is Revlon`s 925 "Gold Coin" nail polish from the Heavenly Metal Collection, which contains three shades in total: a silver metallic, a gold metallic, and a copper metallic.

First and foremost, I love the formula of this! It isn`t at all runny but to me, seems like the perfect consistency. The polish applies smooth, not at all streaky after the second coat, and is extremely opaque. In the picture, I achieved that intensity with only two coats of the polish. The wear on this polish is pretty awesome too! I was able to wear it for about 4 days before I started seeing signs of wear and tear on my nails, and even then, it was only at the tip which is natural. I thought that the polish dried fairly quickly also, especially with a dry fast top coat.

I really like the color of this gold. It`s not a bright, obnoxious gold. It swings more on the light, silvery-golden side. When the polish hits the light, it tends to look more silvery than gold. Nonetheless, it is definitely an eye-catching shade!

My only gripe about this polish is that it is a little bit hard to remove. The formula on these is like a foiled metallic finish. So if you were to take a nail polish remover, you would have to go over your nail twice. The first time you swipe the nail polish remover over your nails, it will remove the metallic color of the polish, leaving it to be a silvery metallic shade (which is pretty cool!). You will then have to wipe your nails again to have the silver metallic finish removed completely from your nails.
