my daughter`s (the middle one) culmination ceremony was Tuesday at 9am and I looked at my nails late Monday night and omg, they looked bad. nail polish all chipped, a couple of nails with bad corners, I had no time Tuesday to do them before the ceremony so yup, this is what a late night mani in dim lighting looks like LOL
I chose a simple nude color with just a touch of glitter - or so was my intention. I used Essie Eternal Optimist as a base which does not look like much in the bottle, in fact, it doesn`t look pretty at all and I had picked it up on a whim. it`s a pinky nude shade, no glitter, no shimmer, no nothing, quite unpretentious.
for my little glitter kick I used Spoiled by Wet n Wild in Jewelry Heist. I picked this one because it actually has lots of pink glitter, it`s a super complex polish let me tell you. it has pink, gold, blue, and possible like a teal color glitter running through it in a clear base. it`s gorgeous in real life. I ended up using it just on my ring fingers and on my thumbs, it looks soooo good !!! this is one of those must have polishes for me.
I know the picture doesn`t do the polish justice, if you guys can get your hands on it, I suggest you buy it, you`ll love it !
