Online Polish Haul

Ok, its official. I am in need of help for my nail polish addiction. Its getting way out of control! Lol

I recently discovered, a website that specializes in carrying polishes that are hard or at times near impossible to find in Canada. They have GREAT customer service and ship out really quickly. And if you have any questions, you can ask on their facebook page and they will answer usually within a day!

The site is also set up really well. You can sort by brand, collection, colour, effect...almost anything you can imagine! So its really easy to find what you are looking for, or discover similar items!

So of course, once I discovered the site, I had to place an order. And of course, I may have gone a little overboard.

First item I was looking for included flakie polishes. I purchased Essie Shine of the Times after a long hunt in store, but they carry not only Shine of the Times, but Nubar 2010 as well! They also carry a variety of other flakies, including a bunch from Nfu Oh, Zoya and Deborah Lippmann. I was looking for a blue or green toned flakie to add to my collection. After going through a bunch of them, I settled on NFU 39 which has a clear base and blue, green flakes.

I should mention, one of my favourite features on the site is the search engine they have on each page. As soon as you click on a nail polish, it shows you the top images that match with the item, so more often than not, you get to see swatches different bloggers have posted for that polish. You can also click the pictures to read the associated blogs and reviews for the product! Its a great feature and really helps you choose which shade to buy.

Anyways, back to my haul: Once choosing my flakie, my first ever Nfu Oh polish, I decided to check out the Hot Deals section. This is the polishes that are on sale. Also, they have a coupon code: Hot10 which allows you to get an additional 10% off polishes in this section.

So I decided to check it out and see what I could find.
I quickly noticed that they have Nubar and Zoya polishes which I have never had the opportunity to try before. I dont know much about Nubar, and I wasnt really blown away by any of the shades or swatches until I came across some Matte polishes! I have seen matte polish swatches on the internet, but never seen a matte polish sold anywhere in Canada. I decided I needed to try some and ended up choosing 2 colours: a black shade called Midnight and a Golden shade called Sunset which were both on sale. I also ended up selecting another Nubar item, a nail polish striper/pen duo in Basic White (this one wasnt on sale, but I have been needing a white striper for nail art and I liked that this one had a pen tip as well).

Next, checking out the Zoya Hot Deals, I found a great forest green shade called Irene and another matte polish, this time a Purple called Savita.

At this point, I was seeing so many other polishes that I wanted, but I had to hold myself back. I ended up choosing one more silver and blue glitter polish from China Glaze called Loreleis Tiara from the glittery Eye Candy collection because I had my eye on that collection for a while and never checked any of them out.

Originally, I had trouble with the Hot10 discount since it wouldnt apply to my order, but I just posted about it on their facebook page, and they messaged me once they fixed it!
My order arrived a few days after ordering and you could tell that everything was packaged carefully. Bottles were paired up and rolled in bubble wrap, though they werent directly touching so they wouldnt break in transit. And of top of it all, the entire box was filled with foam peanuts as well, just to be extra safe. And shipping was free because I spent over 29 dollars with my order.

Everything arrived safe and sound, so I was happy.
One last thing to mention is that the website also allows you to gain points for each dollar you spend on polish. Once you collect enough points, you can redeem them for free items! So I will definitely be ordering from these guys again!
And though they are a Canadian company, I know they also ship to the US (Im not sure about elsewhere though).

I suggest you check them out.... I know Im definitely going to be a loyal customer from now on. :)
