And so, my nail polish obsession continues. I just cant stop buying polishes!
I know Im not the only one in this predicament, but as I have shared before, Ive found that buying mini polishes is often a more cost effective solution. That way, you can still buy the polishes you are going to buy anyways, but you spend a lot less and they take up less space as well!
Besides, you usually dont wear the polish more than a few times anyways, so unless its a favorite shade, it makes sense to own the smaller bottles instead of the full size ones
I recently wanted to do a Christmas inspired nail art design by layering a green polish with a red tip. Unfortunately, I couldnt find a green in my collection that was particularly Christmas-y so I knew it was something I would keep my eye out for.
So on a trip to Sallys Beauty Supply, I decided to scope out their mini polish racks and found a perfect green shade to add to my collection.
These polishes are only 99 cents each so its a great option for polish lovers like me! I also noticed 2 mini glitter polishes that I picked up right away. Both have blue, purple and green glitters, but one is in a purple-y blue base and the other is in a clear base. I know I can use both for winter-themed nail art, and at a dollar a piece, I figured, why not?
Before heading to the cash, I took a look at their clearance and sale section. There wasnt too big of a selection, but they did have a bunch of mini China Glaze polishes in Ruby Slippers for only $1.24 each. Though I knew I had a bunch of red polishes at home for my Christmas themed nails, I figured this glittery shade would work much better and decided to grab one.
I didnt want to tempt myself with anything else, so I headed to the cash. All in all, I spent under 5 bucks for 4 new polishes, which is pretty good in my books....
And stay tuned for my Christmas inspired nails. I will do a post on those soon ;)
Do you ever buy mini polishes instead of a full size bottle?
Whats your favourite out of the four I picked up?
