Nail of the day: sally hansen turquoise crome

sometimes I find some really cool stuff at Big Lots, like scrapbooking supplies mostly, way cheaper than Michael`s that`s for sure. I went looking for craft stuff today and I picked up a bunch of beads and silk thread, uber excited BUT I also stumbled upon this little nail polish pen. no joke, it was $1.50. I thought it`d be great for the teen, the color looked ok in the packaging so I figured for that price why not? got home, was totally intrigued so I did one nail, HOLY GUACAMOLE !!! this little pen packs a punch let me tell you, one coat and it`s uber opaque, the color is much brighter/lighter than the packaging, beyond fast drying, as in by the time I finished the second hand the first was already dry. I do have some complains but nothing too major. one coat is enough, too would be amazing (I only have one on in the pics), it does dry fast but it`s not a smooth finish, it`s a bit asperous actually but I`m sure one coat of seche vite will fix that, the brush however is a bit stiff, not very pliable so it`s hard to do the edges but again, a qtip with nail polish remover will clean up nicely. these are freaking great !!!
