I have been seeing gradient nails everywhere lately. I just knew I had to try them. I was originally trying to do three colours, but my nails only fit 2 colours the way I did them.
What you need:
*Make up sponge
*At least two complimentary colours
*Clear top coat
*Nail polish remover
Step 1- Paint your nails all white. This will ensure bright colours and just leave a good base for sponging-the colours will be a bit sheer when sponged.
Step 2- Paint a strip of each colour on the sponge. Have the colours touching.
Step 3- Start lighting sponging this on to your nails. Repeat till the colour is as opaque as you want. I did this about 3 times till I was happy.
Step 4- Add a top coat. This rally just seals in the colours and makes it look finished.
Step 5- This leave a lot of polish around the nail. So, step five is to clean up the cuticle and skin.
Wa-La! It is super easy and I think everyone should try it.
The colours I used are China Glaze`s Peachy Keen-the peach- and Essie`s Mod Squad-the pink.
