Hi my fellow Luuuxians,
If you read my last post, or even if you follow me then you probably know that my friend Chrissy and I spent most of Saturday revising and studying for tests. Today Im also spending the day with her and we actually walked to our local shopping centre. We went in mainly to buy some revision materials (extra pens and pencils, notebooks etc...) but obviously being girls we also went to the makeup counters and bought a few things. Some of these item I bought a week ago but most of it today.
For those of you would also watch the pixiwoo sisters on YouTube, you may know that Sams real technique brushes are now available in boots stores in England. So I went a bit crazy and bought the core collection, the starter kit, the blush brush and also the powder brush (which is HUGE!). I had bought the core collection last week, I have washed them once and so far have not experienced any shedding :) so I think after a good use of these brushes I probably will do a review. I already own the stippling brush from real techniques and it is amazing for liquid foundation or tinted moisturiser, also great for blush!
Next I bought some things that have been hyped about so much over the past 3 months and finally they have arrived in England! Yes Im talking about the Revlon lip butters! I bought two of them in the shades: Macaroon and peach parfait. I tested them out in store and they seem to give a hint of colour and are very moisturising. Also the Maybelline 24hr colour tattoos have been raved about a lot! Some people have actually compared them to MAC Paint pots! I dont own any MAC paint pot nor have I ever tried them. I decided to pick up two shades in on and on bronze & Eternal Gold- these for shades seem to be more wearable than the other shades I saw. There was a gorgeous purple which I didnt get because I know I would neglect it.
Also from Maybelline I bought the Great lash mascara in waterproof. As summer is fast approaching, we have long and fun days to look forward to. So I decided to get and I dont own any waterproof mascaras.
From No7 I bought an eye shadow base which seemed interesting. I dont have many eye shadow bases or primers so I thought I would try this. I had a £5 No7 voucher, so I bought this for only £2.75.
Lastly I bought two nail polishes from ASDA, yes ASDA! Im not sure if ASDA is available internationally but its basically a supermarket/ huge grocery and food store. I had no idea that there was an ASDA brand of makeup. I picked up two really nice shade one was matte whereas the other was metallic. The shade were warior and werewolf. I bought these a week or so ago, when I went in to buy groceries with my wonderful mum!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post x
Everything was bought with my own money and all images are mine :)
