As I spent last night spring cleaning my laptop, getting rid/transferring of old files, I stumbled upon pictures from a trip to Frankfurt, Germany in 2008 - can`t believe that`s four years ago. Since I have a couple of fond memories connected to this weekend trip, I thought I`d share it with you luuuxers anyway.
My friends, boyfriend, me and colleagues from school embarked on this trip to attend the famous Frankfurt book fair/Frankfurter Buchmesse , the world`s largest trade fair for books, with around 7500 exhibitors from over 110 countries. I know this might sound like a pretty nerdy/geeky/boring trip, but we sure made the most out of it mingling with the Cosplayers, shopping, indulding in tons of free food and paying Frankfurt`s red light district a visit (the latter being the most exciting part of the trip for the immature 18-yr-old girl I was back then)
I`ve been to various places in Germany, and so far, Frankfurt was one of my favourites - such a fun, vibrant and nice city. If you`re ever gonna end up there (e.g. because you`re in transit/taking a connecting Lufthansa flight on a long haul trip, which is often the case), you definitely won`t regret it!
