This is the tattoo I got in memory of my son, Jason, who passed away of esophageal cancer. I never thought that I would get one at my age, but my youngest son and daughter-in-law got this design of the ribbon and I decided to get one as well. The blue in the ribbon is for the type of cancer he had. He was a dirt track racer and avid race fan, so the checkered flag part was added. After he passed away, I had the lettering added as a tribute to him. I do not regret getting this done and if it looks bad when I am old, so be it.
