My Perfume Collection - Chanel, Michael Kors, Issey Miyake, Hermes amp Ralph Lauren

You may think my perfume collection is quite small compared to some other people`s, well I do lol, but these are the fragrances I love and will buy over and over again.

The one on the top left is Michael by Michael Kors which has Base Notes of Cashmere Woods, Musk, and Vetiver. Middle Notes of Tuberose, Blue Orris, White Wings Peony and Arum Lily and Top Notes of Dewy Freesia, Tamarind, Incense, and Chinese Osmanthus. This Eau de Parfum to me smells like a creamy floral if that makes any sense. I think it`s cause of the combination of Musk, Tuberose, Fressia and the Incense that cause it to smell this way. It is a scent I wear on evenings and tend to shy away from during the days or hot summer months as it can be too over powering as a day time scent and changes chemistry slightly due to heat in the summer and this will start to have sort of an uncomfortable feel on the skin during hot months.

The second one is L`eau D`Issey by Issey Miyake. This Eau de Toilette has Base Notes of Musk, Amberseed, Tuberose, Osmanthos, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood. Middle Notes of
Carnation, White Lilies, and Fresh Peonies. Top Notes
Lotus, Freesia, Cyclamen, and Rose Water. The scent is a woody floral. I think since the Tuberose is a base note and not a middle note in this scent is less intense compared the Michael where the Tuberose is a middle note and as the scent wears off you get a stronger prescence of that sooner. This was actual the first perfume scent I bought when I was 16 and still remains a favorite. It`s a fragrance I wear both day and evening as I find it suits both as it is not one of those overpowering offensive scents that can intrude on other`s sense of smell and transitions into the evening if you are heading out for a bite with friends after work.

The third one on the top right is Romance by Ralph Lauren. I use to love this Eau de Parfum when I was in my early 20s, but as I`ve grown a little older I`ve started to like it less. The perfume has Base Notes of Patchouli, Oakmoss, Exotic Wood, and Skin Musk. Middle Notes of Lotus Flower, Night Blooming Dailily, White Violet, and Violet Absolute. Top Notes
Sungoddess Rose, Ginger, Camomile, Lychee, Marigold, and Yellow Freesia. I think my sense of smell has changed as I`ve aged and for some reason this scent smells too strong to me now and a bit like a soapy old lady floral :( My mom however loves to wear this so when it runs out I will repurchase it for her. However the men`s Romance version smells so sexual. I love the smell of that on a man, but that`s getting off topic.

The one on the bottom left is Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. This perfume has Base Notes of Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver, Bourbon Vanilla, and White Musk. Middle Notes of Litchi, Rose, and Italian Jasmine. Top Notes
Orange, Bergamot, and Grapefruit. I personally really enjoy scents with grapefruit, jasmine, and patchouli in them. This scent to me is a classic one and when I am going to go out somewhere nice for the evening I will usually spray this on. It is the fragrance that makes me feel feminine.

Chance Eau Fraiche by Chanel is my go to fragrance no matter what the season is. It has Base Notes Vetiver, Amber, Patchouli, and Teak. Middle Notes of Jasmine Absolute, and White Musk. Top Notes of Citron and Water Hyacinth. It is one of those clean fresh scents that anyone can get away with wearing any time. The only down side is that this fragrance does not last as long as I`d like it to. Despite that this is the fragrance I take with me when I go traveling.

The last one is one I recently bought a new one of as you can see the Un Jardin Sur La Nil by Hermes is quite empty in the photo lol, but if you look back at a post I made last month I did buy a new one that came in a gift set. This is my favorite summer scent since it is a light lush citrusy scent. This one doesn`t get all whacky in the heat and change smells or makes you feel icky if it heats up. When you smell it initially it has a nice grapefruit smell to it, then it fades to a smell of the mango, grapefruit blended with frankincense.

Have your tastes in perfume changed over the years?
Are there scents you still love and wear from your younger years?
What are your top 3 favorite scents to wear?

PS sorry for the long post please still like and comment and of course wave me a hello lol j/j
