When my husband and I moved in together, I knew it wouldn`t be long before he proposed. He had been asking me about how I felt about getting married for months and now seeing each other every day, he was talking about it constantly. Then came the questions about what kind of ring I would be interested in. I gave him as many definitive answers as I could, and sent him some pictures of ones that I liked, but in true man fashion, he had no idea what I was talking about. He then began sending ME pictures of rings, and I knew something was up. What I didn`t know, is that he had a friend that was a jeweler who allowed him a wholesale connection, and they had been purchasing the rings that my husband was sending me for approval! After sending me photos of four different rings over the course of two weeks, my husband to be was fed up. He couldn`t figure out what I wanted and he was just going to have to let me pick it out myself. Finally telling me what he was up to, he had me call the jeweler and tell them exactly what I wanted. Well, long story short, I saw this one and fell in LOVE. I know it is silly to put so much stock in a looped piece of metal, but after getting married, this hunk of gold and diamonds reminds me every day that I love my husband and have fully committed to our rollercoaster life. Even though he drives me completely bananas some days, I still love him, and always have this ring to prove it.
I went with a white gold band with diamonds on three sides. There is a larger round diamond in the middle flanked by two medium sized ones. The right and left sides each have 5 small diamonds and what we`ll call the front and the back each have 21 tiny diamonds. All together they add up to about 2 carats. I have no idea what it costs retail but it is priceless to me!
