The first time i saw this hair trend i was determined to get it done to my hair ! It`s been a LONG journey ! I did this myself just because i don`t really trust others dying my hair. That way, if i mess it up, I know that i`m the one to blame, not someone else. LOL, it took me a while to get to where it is now. But I`m so happy with the finish product! Like i said it took me a while to get to the picture on the RIGHT. The picture on the LEFT was my first attempt at the OMBRE affect. As you can tell it came out more of an orange/ coppery gradient effect. I waited a while (almost 2 months) to do it again. The first try i used a drugstore highlighting kit, i believe it was the Revlon honey highlighting kit. It did a good job creating the gradiant effect from my normal darkdark brown to a nice golden grown orange color, BUT it didn`t turn the tips blonde like how i wanted it. So the second time around i went to a local beauty suply store & picked up a 40 developer & bleech powder. & thats what did it! But i only applied it to the tips where i wanted it blonde as you can see in the picture. Hopefully this wasnt tooo confusing. If your thinking of doing this you should ! it`s such a beautiful hair dye style, but keep in mind this is very damaging to hair.
