i`ve worn the same pair of glasses for 3 years, and i decided it was time to get a new set of frames. i loved my last pair and my eyesight didn`t worsen/improve, so i didn`t see a reason to get a new pair. i actually used gucci frames that my dad had. he got a new pair of glasses and they were gonna go to waste, but i asked if i could have them. i have a HUGE and terribly wide head, so men`s frames are actually quite perfect for me. i`ve worn them so long that most of the text on the inside of the arms have rubbed off! they were quite a dependable pair.
i was at the eye doctor`s and spotted these ray-ban`s and i KNEW i had to have them. they are humongous and very hipster buuuuut whatevs! no judgment. it took me quite a while to get used to these glasses because the ones i used to have had a much thinner frame, if that makes sense. (the length from top to bottom was a lot smaller.) these are as tall as they are wide! they`re quite fun.
my only complaint is that they are a tad narrow for my face, which like i said before is very very wide. however, they do fit comfortably. it`s just an appearance factor, which i don`t mind too much. like i said previously, it`s so odd having such a broad field of clear vision with these glasses because of the large lens compared to my old glasses.
and if you were curious about the model number/stock photo, here is the link to the frame on the ray-ban site: http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/products/optical/RB5257?var=2034
your thoughts on my new glasses? :)
