Recently i purshaced a new office chair to replace my old and "not so soft" one(i might post it soon). I got it at Staples and they had a promotion that with the chair they would offer this dymo machine and 10 refund as part of dymo promotion.
Dymo offers 10/10$ refund to people who buy this machine, but even though this was free with the chair they would still offer the refund. So i got the chair, the machine and 10 refund.
I can`t remember the last time i used a Dymo machine before and i only remembered those old style ones that had a wheel with letters but this one is much more modern. You have a big qwerty keyboard to type, a nice screen to view what you are typing and something that i thought was really cool which is a collection of different cliparts/symbols to choose from and to use with you labels.
You can pick different sizes for the text in the label and one you are done you just press the "print" key and cut it, its as simple as that.
It has 2 downsides for me: it takes 6AAA batteries, which i think its to much and the worse is the price of the tapes. This included a 3m tape but i have looked at the prices and a new tape costs around 20 =/ that is way to much but luckily i don`t do much labels and i think this will last for a while. But anyway, its free so i can`t complain =D
Have you used a dymo machine before? Do you make a lot of labels?
Did you find a good deal recently?
