Hey guys! So I thought I would share with you today how I store my makeup! (The majority of my makeup was purchased by me, but some of the things shown were given to me by friends and family for my birthday) I think I have a good amount of makeup (considering I`m only 15) and I am really grateful for everything that I have :) Just wanted to address that no, I don`t wear foundation/tinted moisturizer or powder :)
~I got this drawer unit from Office Depot when it was on sale a while back for about $21. http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/550984/Office-Depot-Brand-Medium-Plastic-Storage/
However, if you do want something like this to store your makeup in, I wouldn`t recommend buying this specific one because the two large bottom drawers end up only being able to hold really little. I would recommend this one http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/551048/Office-Depot-Brand-Medium-Plastic-Storage/?cm_cat=2000000353 but it is a little bit more expensive. Anyways, onto the makeup!
I have my storage cart right next to my dresser, and on top of my dresser, I keep a few things that I reach for on an everyday basis.
-The pink box holds all my perfumes/sprays and because I had matching body lotions and sprays from Bath and Body Works, I put the lotions in there as well
-The orange container holds all my everyday products ~ My daily moisturizer, deodorant, hand lotion, etc.
-The gray colored container is something I purchased from Walgreens in a pack of 3 for about $1. In it I store some samples I am currently trying out as well as my Eucerin cream :)
Moving on to the storage unit :
-Up top, as you can probably see, there are little dividers :D Those are actually part of the unit which would work really well if you wanted to store your everyday makeup for easy access ^_^ I store my Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers as well as a generic one from Walgreens and one from The Body Shop. In the back, I have Japanese blotting papers, some more sprays from Bath and Body Works (that I don`t use too often), eye makeup remover, my only nail polish, Eucerin lotion, Clean and Clear facial cleanser and shaving gel. Behind all that are my cotton puffs from Daiso (that I am in love with!).
-The first drawer holds all of my eye products. The white container is from Walmart, and the flowery looking thing is actually the lid to the pink box :) The white container holds my trios and quads ~ pretty much everything besides single eyeshadows (oh and I also do have a sample of the Nars tinted moisturizer and some of the Jouer luminizing moisture tint but I probably won`t use those until a special occasion comes up). In the front I have my two Maybelline color tattoos, two L`oreal Infallible eyeshadows, two Revlon single shadows, and a Mac eyeshadow. Behind that I store all my mascaras, eyeliners, and concealers. At the very back are some origami containers that I made to store the applicators/brushes that come with makeup when you buy them :)
-In the second drawer is all of my lip products. Yes, I am a lip junkie. XD In the big container, I have all my lip products that are not lip glosses. Next to that are all my lip glosses; the ones in the back I don`t quite reach for, and the ones in the front are my favorites. In the front I just have a Vaseline lip therapy, my EOS lip balms, a Lush Honey Trap lip balm, The Body Shop lemon lip butter, Mac lip and cheek color, and some samples from Jouer.
-In the third drawer is where I store my brushes and blushes. My brushes are just in a glass cup, and I put a ribbon around it so that it would look cute when I take it out while doing my makeup XP So as I said, all my blushes are stored here, and I do have a bronzer from Estee Lauder in here as well.
-The last drawer holds LOTS of stuff... I have Lush soaps in a container at the very top, and below that are various products from The Body Shop and Bath and Body Works. In the back of the drawer are all of my makeup bags :)
So I hope you enjoyed this post! I`m sorry it was kind of long; hope you stuck through it though! Leave post suggestions in the comments below! :)
