Hey guys! A while back I shared my nail polish collection with all of you. My intention was to then move on to my entire makeup collection, but it`s just taken me a while to get around to it. I thought I`d start with one of my favourite parts, my blush collection! I have about 16 blushes now (which is neither small nor excessive in my opinion, lol). Within them, I thought it would make sense to split by brand (for the brands I have tons of), and then by colour for MAC since I have a ton of MAC blushes. This post will be on my three pink MAC blushes: Dainty, Gentle, and Dollymix.
Dainty is a mineralized blush from the permanent range. It is a warm baby pink with gold shimmers. It is very nicely pigmented and super easy to blend. This is actually the first blush I ever owned from MAC (and was for a long time the only blush I used). It is not overly shimmery or overpowering in colour, but you don`t need much to flush your cheeks. I`ve flattened it out quite a bit over the years, and I can see myself one day actually running out of this!
Gentle is also a mineralized blush from MAC`s permanent range. It is more of a purple-magenta pink, but definitely comes across pink more than anything else on the cheeks. It is a beautiful warm colour with golden sheen, and has the same great application and pigmentation that Dainty does. I don`t use this one as much (only because of the colour being strong), but love it when I do!
Dollymix is a sheertone shimmer blush, also part of the permanent range, which does not scream as loudly on the cheeks as it does in the pan. It would`ve been much brighter if the formula was something else, but as a sheertone shimmer it is just a beautiful rosey flush, similar to cheeks in the winter cold. I wear this one the least, but I love with a bold berry lip and black eyeliner!
